First Frost (Garden)

First Frost (Garden)
Sow this blend after your garden harvest to gain all the benefits of a cover crop to improve soil health.
How To Grow
Approx. one month before your first killing frost, plant this blend after you have harvested your garden.
STEP 1: Loosen soil, hand-scatter/row seeds, lightly cover seeds with soil. Continue to water and keep soil moist until germination.
STEP 2: Let cover crop grow (crop will go dormant when temperatures reach below 0°C).
STEP 3: Cut spring re-growth down to the ground or cover with a tarp. Let the trimmings/plants decompose, incorporate into the soil or leave as armor.
STEP 4: Sow your vegetable seeds or seedlings and enjoy healthier garden produce.
STEP 5: Repeat every fall.
