About Me
Hello, my name is Brendan English. I grew up in southwest Manitoba on a cow-calf operation, where my passion for soil health and cattle grazing began. After high school, I attended Lakeland College and have remained in Alberta ever since.
I now live on my fiancée Haley’s century farm in Castor, Alberta, where, alongside her father and brother, we operate a cow-calf operation. The transition from southern Manitoba to central Alberta was significant, but I have embraced the challenge. While ranching may look different here, one thing remains constant: the drive to maximize every aspect of our system. For me, that starts with soil health.
Outside of the farm, we make the most of our summers by spending time outdoors, while winters are filled with travelling to various rinks for refereeing hockey and the occasional curling bonspiel.
