Speaker Notes: Dakota Odgers runs a mixed farm near Spyhill Saskatchewan with his father and grandfather. As a 5th generation farmer, with many years of organic production Dakota has been involved with many mangagment systems and cropping strategies. The Odgers have implemented cover cropping strategies in the last 5 years on their operation to achieve soil health benefits and increased quality of forage. Dakota also spent time with Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds, and is well versed in funding, and grant options for producers who are interested in implementing regenerative practices on their operations.
