Plant Diversity Study
Connecting Farmers To Soil Health
Hello, Friends.
Today, we wanted to take a step back and thank everyone that supported our blends this spring/summer/fall & those who took the time to come to the farm back in July for our field tours!
We put together a summary video of the 2020 Full Season Cover Research Initiative.
Why The Plant Diversity Study?
We scattered the Full Season Cover over 30 farms and 3,000 acres across Manitoba and Saskatchewan in 2020. Farms utilized the 15 species blend for rotational grazing, silage, dry hay & green manure purposes.
Before and after soil analysis, rate of gain, silage feed tests, tonnage, water infiltration bench-marking & nutrient density trials.
We are looking forward to sharing the results with you this winter!
