Full Season Cover Week
Hello friends,
Did you miss our Full Season Cover Week from April 10 - 16, 2023? No worries.
This week-long event brought together experienced farmers from across the prairies to share their knowledge and expertise on how to get started with our Full Season Cover blend. The goal of the week? To help minimize the headaches in adopting multi-species cover crops for silage, dry hay and extended fall grazing.
Enjoy.

Monday: Farmer Panel Discussion
On Monday evening, we held a Farmer Panel Discussion with our most participants to date! The panel featured four producers across Western Canada sharing their experiences and answering the questions we are most frequently asked (seeding tips, harvest timing, feed quality, etc.).

Tuesday: Let Your Cows Decide
On Tuesday, we focused on the palatability & feed quality of the Full Season Cover. A balance of energy (grasses) & protein (legumes) also provides flexibility at harvest:
Cut Early = Higher Protein, Lower TDN
Cut Later = Lower Protein, Higher TDN
As a cattle producer, we encourage you to put up one tote (30 acres) against your mono-crop green feed this spring. See it for yourself.
